If you are requesting the 50 mile per day rate structure (available in Topeka ONLY), you are not able to do on-line reservation. You will need to call the Enterprise branch where you are renting the car from. Refer to the Motor Vehicle Rental Contract Number

Contract Information
Reservation Process via Internet
- Log on to www.enterprise.com 24 hours prior to desired rental time
- Enter Location
Enter Dates and Times needed
Choose a Rental Car Class (for best results, “Show me everything” or you can choose a specific option)
Enter your Enterprise Customer Number under “Optional: Corporate Account or Customer Number” - (this customer number was issued to your agency by Enterprise and must be entered to gain access to contract pricing.)
- Click “Search”
- Enter Pin number “555”
- Click “Sign In”
- More than 1 branch location may be displayed
“Select” the Location of your choice
- Review information on available vehicles
“Select” a vehicle of choice to continue
NOTE: You will not be able to rent any vehicle that is not included as part of contract

- Enter “Renters Contact Information”
* First and Last Name
* Home Phone Number
* Email Address for work or home (confirmation will be sent to this address)
* Select “VISA” as credit card type
If you are reserving several vehicles, the system will remember who you are.
- Enter “Additional Information – Optional” now or be prepared to complete at Enterprise counter when car is picked up.
- Click “Continue”
- Verify Your Rental Information
NOTE: As of 11/21/03, the Internet website shows Kansas Excise and Sales Taxes; the State of Kansas is exempt from these taxes and they will be removed at the rental counter.
- Click “Book Now”
- Record the reservation confirmation number for future reference.
(The reservation number and other information will also be presented in a confirmation e-mail)
- Do you require a pick up from your home or office?
If yes, place a telephone call to the selected branch to request pick-up services; you will need your reservation confirmation number.
If no, move to the next step.
- You have successfully reserved a vehicle. If you need to make changes to your reservation, please follow the icons at the bottom of the screen.
Reservation Process via Phone
- During business hours call the local Enterprise location at least 24-hours in advance to reserve a vehicle (Refer to the Motor Vehicle Rental Contract Number
09730A for current phone numbers. The contract is available at the following web address:

Outside of business hours – call 1-800-RENT-A-CAR
- Provide the following information to Enterprise:
Enterprise Customer Number - (this customer number was issued to your agency by Enterprise)
Renter’s Name
Renter’s home and work phone numbers
Date and Times vehicle needed
Desired vehicle class (refer to State of Kansas Contract Number 09730A)
- If in Topeka – Inform enterprise if you need the 50 mile/day rate plan.
If outside of Topeka – go to step 4.
- Inform Enterprise how you would like to obtain the vehicle
* Pick up from Enterprise rental branch
* Enterprise to pick you up from your home or office
- Ask the Enterprise representative for reservation confirmation number.
- You have successfully reserved an Enterprise rental vehicle.
- For cancellations, call the local Enterprise branch using the directions shown above.
Reservations must be cancelled 12 business hours
prior to reservation time to avoid the penalty.
Returning an Enterprise Rental Vehicle during Business hours
NOTE:
Vehicles should be returned with a full fuel tank. Vehicles returned with less than a full tank will be fueled by the Contractor at a substantially higher cost.
- Drive to the Branch location where the vehicle was rented.
- Check the vehicle in.
- If necessary, Enterprise will provide a free ride back to your home or office.
Returning an Enterprise Rental Vehicle OUTSIDE of Business hours
NOTE:
Vehicles should be returned with a full fuel tank. Vehicles returned with less than a full tank will be fueled by the Contractor at a substantially higher cost.
- Drop the vehicle off at the Enterprise branch where the vehicle was rented. Leave keys in drop box.
Topeka ONLY –
- Drop the vehicle off at the Enterprise branch where the vehicle was rented. Leave keys in drop box.
- Drive vehicle to State Parking Lot #8C (parking lot located at northeast
corner of 6th and Harrison streets). You may enter the lot from Harrison
street or the alley on the east side of the lot. Park vehicle in one of the designated parking spaces for Enterprise vehicle returns; lock the vehicle. Place keys in drop box.
- Dial the Pager number (270-3289) and leave the Enterprise Rental Agreement
Number on the system.
Additional Information
If you need Enterprise to pick you up so state when making reservation and call the local
branch directly 30 minutes prior to the agreed pick up time. (Refer to the Motor Vehicle
Rental Contract Number 09730A for current phone numbers. The contract is available at the

Locations – Enterprise Rent –A-Car currently has thirty-six (36) locations in the state of Kansas and over forth (40) in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Refer to Motor Vehicle Rental Contract Number
09730A for specific details.
You will not be able to rent any vehicle that is not included as part of contract #09730A.
Personal Use – In-State rental rates are available to State employees for personal use. When renting for personal use, Collision Damage Waiver, Personal Accident Insurance and/or Supplemental Liability Protection will not be included in the rate structure.
State employees renting outside the state will receive a 5% discount at
neighborhood locations and a 10% discount at airports nationwide.
Information for Topeka ONLY
A 50 mile per day rate is available for Topeka ONLY. This cannot be obtained by internet reservation. You must make a reservation by phone to obtain this rate.
Pager System for After Hours Vehicle Returns:
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has a voice pager system that will allow the State employee to notify Enterprise of the time and the Enterprise location of the returned rental vehicle. Please contact the local Topeka branch office for specific details.
One Way Rentals between Topeka and Kansas City International Airport:
When requesting this service, please make your return reservation at the same time you make your original reservation.
If a State employee, based in Topeka, is flying out of Kansas City International (MCI) Airport for business, they may rent a car from an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Topeka, drive it to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location at MCI and return the car just paying the daily charge. When the employee returns to Kansas City, they may rent another car from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location at MCI and return it to an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Topeka. The daily rate would be the same for the return rental; however, the rental from MCI will be subject to taxes, concession fees, airport access charges and other charges that are mandated by the Kansas City International Airport Aviation Department, however this is still more cost effective than paying for parking at the airport.

Lawrence Vehicle Rentals
Vehicles needed before 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning:
- Vehicles may be rented on Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or
Friday afternoon between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for Sunday or Monday morning departure.
- Rental changes will begin at the stated time of departure.
Vehicles needed before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and before 9:00 a.m. on Saturday:
- Vehicles may be rented the prior evening anytime between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Rental charges will begin at
7:00 a.m. the following morning.
