During FY2004, the State of Kansas piloted a number of new efforts under Governor Sebelius' BEST initiative. Included in those initiatives was an information technology procurement effort which brought together representatives from different state agencies and governmental entities to leverage purchasing power and share best practices. No mandates have been or will be made. The goal is to understand your IT needs and wants so that opportunities to work together become clearer.
