Kansas Statute KSA 75-7205 - Establishment of the Chief Information Technology Officer, Executive Branch.

Governor Mark Parkinson has appointed Joe Hennes as Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) for the Executive Branch of Kansas State Government.  Mr. Hennes was named as Director of the Division of Information Systems and Communications (DISC) in 2009.

The CITO reviews and consults with each executive agency regarding information technology plans, monitors compliance with all information technology policies, and coordinates implementation of new information technology.
