Deferred Compensation

The Deferred Compensation Plan is entirely voluntary and allows employees to set aside a part of their pay before taxes until some later date, such as retirement.

If you join the Deferred Compensation Plan, you choose from a variety of investment options, and may make changes periodically within certain restrictions. The amount of salary deferred is not considered income for tax purposes until it is withdrawn. For more information, contact the Deferred Compensation Office in Topeka at (785) 296-7095, or at 1-800-232-0024 outside of Topeka.
