Monthly coverage - coverage begins on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month.

Semi-monthly deductions - deductions taken out of 24 paychecks a year.

3rd paycheck of the month has no deduction taken for premium.

Employees who participate in the health insurance program pay a semi-monthly charge based upon income level.
