Longevity Compensation

As currently approved by the Kansas Legislature, a longevity bonus is paid to classified regular employees who have at least 10 years (120 months) length of service.

The compensation is at the rate of $50.00 for each year, is paid on the basis of full years, and has a 25-year limit. Employees who have more than 25 years continue to be paid for the 25-year limit.

The payment is included in your bi-weekly paycheck when you accrue 10, 11, 12, etc., years of service.
