Pay Period/Payday

The standard workweek for State employees begins 12:01 AM Sunday and ends Saturday at midnight.
Payday is every other Friday.

Pay information and leave balance information are available on-line at the State Employee Services website on the Monday before payday.

Pay information for employees who have chosen to have their pay directly deposited into their financial institution will be available in the Employee Self Service on the Monday before payday.

We encourage you to use direct deposit to ensure you receive your pay on payday.

Non-exempt employees will receive a time sheet generated by SHaRP and will report hours worked and/or leave usage in quarter-hour increments.
Accurately record actual hours worked or leave taken each day in 1/4 hour increments.

All time worked must be reported.

Application for leave request must be completed and turned in to supervisor for approval of all leave usage.

Exempt employees will report leave in 4 or 8-hour increments.
