Job Description:

Applicants who fail to submit a Tax Clearance Certificate as required will NOT be considered. Applicants are responsible for submitting their certificate with their application materials to the hiring agency each time they apply. UNCLASSIFIED - $14.30 hour

DUTIES: UNCLASSIFIED - This position being filled is a permanent day shift (0600-1400) position with rotating days off and works at least one weekend every four weeks. Assist motorist with vehicle and travel problems by fixing flat tires, providing basic mechanical assistance, moving disable vehicles to shoulder of roadway, providing gasoline, water/antifreeze, calling for wrecker service and providing transportation to stranded motorists. Provides assistance to motorist at traffic crash scenes, administers first aid/CPR and contacts law enforcement officers, wreckers or emergency vehicles. Observe highway conditions and suspected criminal activity or hazardous drivers. Attendance as scheduled is essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or G.E.D. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED: Basic mechanical experience. Knowledge of mechanical structure of vehicles, repair procedures and first aid and CPR. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Applicant must use proper spelling and grammar with proficiency in Word software program.
