Job Description:

The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) currently has a KPRC Intake Supervisor position in the Prevention
and Protection Division.  This position is located in Topeka, KS.  The rate of pay is $44,000.00.  

The Kanas Protection Report Center (KPRC) receives abuse and neglect reports for children and vulnerable adults.  The
KPRC operates 24/7 including holidays and weekends.  This position supervises intake staff who receive and process
reports directly from the public.  This position monitors quality assurance activities and assures that KPRC outcomes
are met through monitoring, evaluation systems and statistical reports.

This position helps develop and implement policy, procedure, and program development.  Monitors staff and addresses
performance concerns without delay. Is trained and skilled in all intake areas of the KPRC and fosters a positive team
oriented environment.

The Shift and Hours are:
Sunday - 11:00pm to Thursday 7:30a

Minimum Requirements: Licensed Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) professional as determined relevant by the
agency.  Must have license at the time of hire.

Preferred - One or more of the following:
Bachelor's in Social Work (Licensed Social Worker)
Master's in Professional Counseling (Licensed Professional Counselor)
Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)

Security Clearance: A background check (KBI – criminal background, welfare fraud, driver’s license, and Child/Adult
Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF)
as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check.  Security clearance must be obtained
prior to employment with DCF.

KANSAS TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE REQUIRED:  Each applicant applying for a State of Kansas job vacancy must obtain a
