A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual's account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws. A Tax Clearance expires every 90 days. Applicants are responsible for submitting a valid certificate with all other application materials to the hiring agency. This is in accordance with Executive Order 2004-03. The position you are viewing is located in Norton.  This is a full-time, unclassified position with benefits. Salary begins at $20.13 per hour, depending on experience and/or skill level of applicant.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position serves as the Human Resource Administrator for District Three.  Position is responsible for providing technical expertise which requires analytical thought and a high degree of concentration in multiple human resource areas including but not limited to Employment, Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Classification. The position analyzes a variety of human resource management issues and provides solutions to problem areas. Serves as first point of contact for disciplinary actions, grievances or other workplace disputes within the district. Composes and prepares disciplinary letters and other correspondence insuring that KDOT policies and state statutes are adhered to.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

Essential Requirements:
Two years of experience in planning, directing, organizing, managing or administering personnel or human resource functions.  Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
