Compensation Range:  $13.61 - $17.99 / hour (Commensurate with Experience)

The Kansas Board of Healing Arts seeks an unclassified, full-time Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support in our Licensing area.  The position will assist with the processing of licensure applications and renewals during renewal cycles, including:  review, analysis, and interpretation of multiple and diverse regulatory requirements.

This position is the first point of contact for many individuals to KSBHA.  Constant daily contacts are made with licensees, applicants, attorneys, other medical professionals, hospitals, colleges/universities, credentialing companies, other state agencies, employees within the Board and the general public.  Customer Service is a priority as the contacts are varied and diverse and information can be extremely sensitive. 

Minimum Requirements:
One year of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work.  Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Minimum Competencies:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have good overall computer skills, type a minimum of 45 wpm, be organized, efficient, have excellent oral and written communication skills and enjoy working with the public.
