The Office of the State Treasurer, located in Topeka, KS, was designated as the fiscal agent for the State of Kansas in 1908. The Fiscal Services department of the office is responsible for banking and bond services. Primary functions include balancing the state’s bank, reconciling to the state’s accounting system, agency accounting and budgeting operations, receipts and disbursements, registration and issuance of municipal bonds, and serving as paying agent for more than 2,200 bond issues totaling in excess of $13 billion.

Competitive salary range of $28,000 to $34,000 based on qualifications, education, and experience.
