Browser Versions Please use one of the following recommended
browsers to ensure online secure employee services will work properly
using 128 bit encryption. Your browser must be enabled to accept cookies.
(Note: check your agency policy on downloading software if you are using a
state-owned computer).
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.50
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with service pack 2 (SP2)
For Windows 2000 users - Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack is
required.
Netscape 8.1 (http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/)
Mozilla Firefox
(http://www.mozilla.com/)
Other versions of these browsers or any versions of other browsers
may cause unreliable results.
Note: Macintosh computers have not been tested. 0 Macintosh computers behave
differently depending on the type and version of web browser as well
as the version of the operating system on the computer. If you are
using a Mac and experience problems with Employee Self Service you
will need to contact the technical support staff in your agency for
assistance for resolution. |
Browser Settings For Internet Explorer 5.5x, under Tools,
select Internet Options. Then select Security, and select Custom Level.
From there, scroll down until you see Cookies, and make certain that
"enable" is checked, select OK. Then, select the Advanced tab, and then
scroll down until you get to Security and make certain that the boxes
marked "Use SSL 2.0" and "Use SSL 3.0" are checked, select OK.
For Internet Explorer 6.0, under Tools, select Internet Options. Select
Privacy, and set it to “Medium”. Then, select the Advanced tab, select
Security. From there scroll down until you get to Security and verify that
the boxes marked “Use SSL 2.0” and “Use SSL 3.0” are checked. Then select
OK.
Check Your Browser
Encryption Go to http://fortify.net/ and select "SSL Check"
from the bottom navigation bar.
