PeopleSoft FLSA calculation requires distinction between exempt and non-exempt employees. Separate sick leave earnings codes are recorded for exempt employees.

The exempt sick leave accrual plan is based on an employee’s time in-pay-status per pay period. It is an all or nothing actual. If exempt employees are in pay status at any time in the period, they will receive full leave accrual.
