Time and leave entry involves recording time and leave in a daily format utilizing the standard time reporting document. The format provides detailed time and leave records for FLSA compliance.
Non-exempt employees are paid an hourly rate. Hours are reported in quarter hour (.25) increments. The number of hours reported determines the amount of a non-exempt employee’s paycheck.
Non-exempt employees accrue sick leave based on the hours worked during the pay period that count toward leave accrual.
Non-exempt employees accrue vacation leave based on the hours worked during the pay period that count toward leave accrual and the employee’s length of service.
