Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to view work schedules.

Navigation: Setup HRMS > Foundation Tables > Organization > Work Schedule

Connections: Work schedules are recorded on the Kansas Information page of Position Data and are used to create default time sheets. Work Schedules can also be viewed on the Kansas Information page in Job Data.

Important Notes: Work schedules define the FLSA period and the number of hours per day a position is scheduled to work. The schedule will default to the employee who occupies the position. This approach makes it possible for exception time reporting. Employees only report deviations from the default work schedule. All employees must be attached to a default work schedule. DO NOT ATTACH A NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE TO THE EXMT WORK SCHEDULE . Doing so will void the FLSA edits.
