WORK SCHEDULE TABLE
Default Work Schedule - Non-Exempt
2 of 5

1.     Non-exempt employees who work the same hours on the same days each week should be attached to a default work schedule that corresponds to their hours of work. (For example, an employee who works 8 hours Monday through Friday without shift hours will have 8MF1 as the default work schedule.)

2.     Non-exempt employees who work fluctuating hours on varying days should be attached to a positive time reporting schedule. The time sheet will not have a default earnings type or hours associated with the earnings type. The timekeeper will enter all hours worked for the period.

3.     A non-exempt employee should not be attached to an EXMT work schedule. Doing so will void the FLSA edits.

4.     Non-exempt employees whose FLSA threshold is 40 hours per week, should not be attached to the following work schedules: DOA3, DOA4, HP81, HP82, P2FB, PS2F. Doing so will result in incorrect FLSA edits.
