Self Service Email Suggestion

Provided below is an email that could be forwarded to your employees reminding them of the changes to Employee Self-Service as a result of the SHARP 8.9 upgrade:

Due to a system upgrade Employee Self Service will close at 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2007. It will reopen at 7:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2007.

The secret question function will change due to the upgrade. Previously you created your own secret question. Your previous secret question no longer exists and the Forgot Password feature will not work until you set up a new secret question and answer. The first time you log-in on July 25, use your current password and select a new secret question from a list of questions and enter an answer.

You can use the current Forgot Password feature to get a new password until the system temporarily closes at 6:00 p.m. on July 20. If necessary, use the feature to get a new password to use on or after July 25. After that date, if you do not know your password, you must call the Employee Self Service Help Desk at :
