| A SHARP update, as a result of implementing PeopleSoft
delivered “fixes”, will occur on Thursday, May 15. The
SHARP system will not be available to users during the update beginning
at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15 and continuing into the day on
Friday, May 16. This includes employee self-service. A SHARP message
will be distributed when the update is complete to notify users
once system availability has been restored.
New functionality will be delivered in the update. The changes
include:
--Commitment Accounting, Department Budget Table: Values entered
in Department Budget Earnings will now default to Department Budget
Deductions and Department Budget Taxes once the changes are saved.
This should simplify the entry of funding information for agencies.
--Review Paycheck: If only Employee ID is entered on the search
view, the result will list paychecks in ascending pay period end
date order. Currently the result is listed in descending pay period
end date order. Clicking on the Pay Period End Date header in the
Search Results will allow you to re-sort the results in descending
pay period end date order.
