| In an effort to minimize the exposure of sensitive
personal information within SHARP, we will be removing the Social
Security Number (SSN) search option from the Time and Leave “Find
an Existing Value” (Search) pages this week.
As a reminder, for those with security access, you may search by
SSN for existing employees in your agency on the “Search by
National ID” page. Navigation: Home>Workforce Administration>Personal
Information>Biographical>Search by National ID.
You can use dashes when entering the SSN in the search field, but
is not a requirement. You may search by “Employees / Contingents
/ POI” or “Dependents and Beneficiaries.” If you
enter the SSN and press “Enter” on your keyboard, the
search feature is not activated; instead, click on the “Search”
button after entering the SSN.
Also, soon we plan to place a statement on the SHARP Log In page
as a reminder to all of us that the information in SHARP is confidential
and should remain secure.
