Adjustments for Retired/Terminated Employees who received a gift
card:
Kansas Health Policy Authority (KHPA) is working to notify agencies
that are required to process payroll adjustments for employees who
selected a gift card prior to their retirement/termination.
Informational Circular 09-P-005 located at http://www.da.ks.gov/ar/infocirc/fy2009/IC09p005.htm
provides instructions for processing the necessary adjustments required
to process the taxable fringe benefit income for employees who selected
a gift card prior to their termination or retirement.
