Is Your Computer Ready for SMART?
Check 1: Minimum Operating System Requirements
Windows 7 (32-bit), Windows XP (32-bit) or Windows Vista (32-bit) are the minimum required operating systems for SMART.
Check 2: Minimum Browser Requirements
Internet Explorer 7.0 is the minimum required browser for SMART.
Note: Internet Explorer 8 is certified only for SMART and not the yet for the Data Warehouse.
Check 3: Required Plug-Ins

Adobe Reader 9.0 or higher is required to read the pdf files produced by many of the reports that you can run in SMART.

Adobe Flashplayer 10.0 or higher is required to run web-based training for SMART, Data Warehouse, and Time and Labor.
Free Adobe Acrobat Reader and Flash browser plug-ins - Navigate to the Adobe website to download free plug-ins.

Some tasks in SMART have additional setup and software requirements. These items are listed below.

Supplier Contract Management - Render and Compare
If you are a Buyer who collaborates on statewide contracts with the Division of Purchases, you will need Word 2003 or Word 2007.
Problems with SMART Web-Based Training?
Check with your Agency Technical staff to ensure the following:

SMART Website and/or SMART Student Center website not blocked on your computer

Pop-up blocker disabled for SMART Website and/or SMART Student Center website during run of web-based training

ActiveX controls enabled so that full content can display during the completion of web-based training
