This position has wide rand of latitude to determine the creation and delivery of the Mental Health Technician (M.H.T.). Program within the Federal and State regulations, nursing practice, and agency policy. This includes the development and presentation of M.H.T. students in completing the program leading to licensure examination and could impact the health and safety of patients.

KANSAS TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE REQUIRED: Each applicant applying for a State of Kansas job vacancy must obtain a valid Kansas Certificate of Tax Clearance by accessing the Kansas Department of Revenue's website at http://www.ksrevenue.org/taxclearance.html A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual's account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws. A Tax Clearance expires every 90 days.

What to Expect Next: Once you complete and submit your application materials, your application will be reviewed to ensure you meet the minimum and any necessary special requirements. Supporting documentation will be verified. Please follow all instructions carefully. Failure to complete all required paperwork, i.e., tax clearance form, including security clearance forms that will be emailed to you upon receipt of your application, by closing date will result in non-consideration for the position. Next, applicants selected for interview will be evaluated by an interview panel using performance/behavior based interview questions. A written exercise may be completed at the time of interview. A second interview may be conducted. Applicants will be subject to background check and criminal history investigation.
