To assist the Kansas State Department of Education to carry out the Kansas State Board of Education mission, we are recruiting for a Legal Intern on the General Counsel Team in the Division of the Office of the Commissioner.
JOB LOCATION: Topeka, KS
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The employee assists the General Counsel and the Teacher Licensure and Accreditation team in the investigation, filing, and prosecution of allegations of professional misconduct. The employee also has opportunity to assist in drafting and revising administrative regulations promulgated by the Kansas State Board of Education. Some opportunities for contract review may be available.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Enrollment in or completion of an accredited college or university law school degree program.

Rate of pay – $15.00 hourly
