Job Description:

Assesses health concerns, plans, coordinates, and implements interventions to help ensure optimal health of clients. Advocates for clients. Develops an overall plan of care for each assigned client, which includes quarterly health care assessments and self-medication program. Responds appropriately to client medical emergencies. Assures completeness of health related duties and continuity of care and that each treatment plan is in compliance with Title XIX standards.  Documents care and complete assigned reports. Attends assigned meetings. Provides in-services, teaching and training to direct care staff.  Oversees implementation of medical protocols.  Monitor work performance and quality of care offered by LPNs, CMAs and direct care staff and provides input to appropriate supervisor. Attends workshops and continuing education. 

Maintain role as CPR coordinator/instructor: Assess, plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates all aspects of the CPR program for KNI. Provides teaching and training to instructors. Maintains required records and ensures national, state, and facility standards are met.
