Compensation Rate Increase for Certain Board Members (From $81.11 to $82.12)

Please note that Board Members who specifically have their board salary tied to legislative pay (Reference K.S.A. 75-3212 and 75-3223) should receive a daily pay increase from $81.11 to $82.12 effective June 5, 2005 per SB 225 (see page 148 http://www.kslegislature.org/bills/2006/225.pdf). The rate is scheduled to change again on December 4, 2005.

If you have not made this update in SHARP Job Data yet, please do so now (or at the latest, prior to 6 PM June 21, 2005). Add a new row in Job Data (Action/Reason: Pay Rate Change/Other) with an effective date of June 5, 2005 and update the comp rate field on the Compensation page with the new rate of 82.12. Check the Annual Benefits Base Rate field to ensure it is zero for these board members.
