All active positions and employees in Information Technology related job classifications (excluding Regents Institutions) will have an effective dated row of June 19, 2005 inserted into their Position Data and Job Data records in SHARP. This row will use the action/reason code of POS/RPS (Position Update/ Reallocation Per AdHoc Study). The batch job will run on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 in order to give agencies time to make other position related changes that may also be effective June 19, 2005. Do not add any rows to Position Management or Job Data dated greater than June 19, 2005 for these employees until after we run the batch job on Wednesday, June 29, 2005.

As a reminder, the Information Resource Specialist (IRS) positions did not cross walk like the other IT classes, therefore, someone in each of your organizations was contacted about the mapping for these individuals. 
Staff in the Division of Personnel Services will be entering these updates throughout the pay period.
