A new Action/Reason code was recently added to SHARP: XFR/HSP (Transfer/Higher Step K.A.R. 1-5-14). This new code reflects recent regulation changes to K.A.R. 1-5-14, Pay of employee upon transfer, which allows an appointing authority to pay an employee at a higher step if the employee transfers to another position in the same agency.
