The Division of Personnel Services in cooperation with the Division of Information Systems and Communications recently completed an update to the Employee Review data rows for several employees in SHARP.
Since the upgrade to PeopleSoft 8.0 in June 2003, agency SHARP users have reported they were experiencing problems with entering new Employee Reviews.
The Evaluation Type field on the Reviewers page became a required field in version 8.0, when it was not in previous versions. This left many blank history rows, preventing a user from saving when they tried to enter a new review.
These blank history rows have been updated with default values and users should now be able too enter Employee Reviews without receiving this error.
Default values:
*If both the Evaluation Type and the Reviewer ID fields were blank:
Evaluation Type = “S” (for Self Evaluation)
Reviewer ID = Employee ID
*If only the Evaluation Type was blank:
Evaluation Type = “R” (for Supervisor/Manager)
