Listserv Purpose and Instructions
PURPOSE:
This Direct Email Notification System for Informal Bid Solicitations of Leased
Space has been implemented only as a courtesy and a convenience to supplement other
public notifications as required.
This Direct Email Notification System is one initiative being undertaken by the
State of Kansas to increase awareness of the Informal Bid Solicitations of Leased
Space. It is being coupled with a second initiative of posting such solicitations
on the Department of Administration web site at:
http://da.ks.gov/fm/dfm/services/InformalBidSolicitationsforLeasedSpace.htm.
By sending direct email notifications to those persons that voluntarily subscribe,
it is the hope and intent of the State of Kansas to increase awareness of these
informal bid solicitations for leased space and therefore, maximize the number of
competitive bid responses. The direct emails and the web site postings
are intended to supplement, NOT REPLACE, the other public notifications as
required such as publication of advertisements in local newspapers, the Kansas Register,
etc.
REGIONS:
For purposes of subscribing to these direct email notifications, the State
of Kansas is divided into geographic regions.
Users may register for multiple regions or for Statewide notification.
INSTRUCTIONS
Upon subscribing to the email list(s) you will receive a confirmation
email requiring you to respond before your subscription becomes active. If
you do not receive this email shortly after subscribing you may have mistyped your
email address and should try it again. If you continue to experience problems,
please contact the Department of Administration Division of Facilities Management

by calling (785) 296-1318.
You may want to add this address to your “white list” and/or
