The process to insert a new effective dated row of 06/08/2003 in the Department Budget tables in SHaRP v7.0 has been completed. Agencies can now enter any FY2004 funding changes that need to be made and should do so using an effective date of 06/09/2003 or later. Agencies can wait until after the conversion to SHaRP v8.0 to do this task. In SHaRP v8.0, agencies will be able to use the new functionality where the funding used on the Department Budget Earns table can default to the Department Budget Deduction and Tax tables using the Default Funding Source Option field on the Dept Budget Date page. Please see the CBT Commitment Accounting Book for more information about using this new functionality. Agencies are scheduled to have access to SHaRP v8.0 by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18.
