SUBJECT:	Job Class Changes and Job Title Changes
MESSAGE TEXT:

The Division of Personnel Services has completed implementation of class changes and title changes affecting positions and employees in SHARP.

A batch program recently inserted new 9-28-2003 effective dated rows into SHARP position and job data to reflect title changes for certain classified job classes. The batch program inserted the title changes for all affected classes statewide (excepting Regents institutions).

The following job codes were affected:

Also effective 9-28-2003, Executive Directive 03-345 established the following new job classes:

8160D2	Human Service Assistant	Pay Grade 15
8161D2	Human Service Specialist	Pay Grade 21
8162D2	Human Service Consultant	Pay Grade 24
8163D2	Human Service Counselor	Pay Grade 26
8164D2	Human Service Supervisor	Pay Grade 27

The Executive Directive also abolished 54 job classes in the Human Service, Museum, Social Service and Health areas. Agencies should be aware of any position and job data changes they need to enter into SHARP.
